I offer a safe supportive healing process for individuals, couples and groups of all ages, over video call or in-person in Marin County, California.
Our experience inspires discovery of your innate capacity to heal, find balance within and embrace with love all you are meant to be.
While our minds may generate solutions for symptom relief and stressful circumstances, this is a journey of the heart. Emotional resonance fuels this process.
I bring my unique blend of depth training, mastery, integrity and exuberance to this soul- nurturing inner adventure. I am filled with wonder as to the resilience, adaptability and emotional bravery of each person I meet.
We are guided by the miraculous interrelationship among body, mind and spirit. Healing is a vibrational matching process.
We creatively combine a broad range of healing modalities optimally suited to your goals. We invite collaboration from traditional and alternative modalities including plant medicine.

For human beings, the nature and quality of attachment and nurturing provided by caregivers in childhood is a key predictor of relationship harmony throughout life.
When we did not receive consistent, attuned parenting to support our process of becoming fully ourselves, we made adaptations to these limited resources by creating distortions and defenses to handle early relationship disappointments.
These may become unconsciously reenacted in similarly frustrating relationships. Romantic partners may wish that their union will heal their respective early parenting experiences. While this is partially true, early disappointment also shows up. This may be healed with a unique process of couple’s somatic healing.
Patricia uses a developmental process of releasing unhealthy attachment patterns that result in limiting beliefs about oneself. Her process offers her clients access to strengths and resources already within themselves, to be mobilized for thriving rather than surviving.
It is thus possible to transform anxious, avoidant or ambivalent attachment styles into a more secure attachment style either in an individual or couples process.
The desired outcome is sovereign, empowering self-love which fuels the capacity for balanced, reciprocal love of others.
During individual or couple’s sessions clients explore and apply relevant elements of universally accepted attachment styles - secure, anxious, avoidant, and ambivalent.

Becoming aware of and managing internal experiences of sensation, emotion and thought is essential for developing inner calm and stability and supports healing. This includes:
Becoming aware of your body’s distress signals and responding with internal tools for self-care, rather than over-riding or avoiding your body’s important messages to you.
Noticing your reactivity to emotional triggers and processing them effectively to return to balance quickly (fight/flight/freeze, panic).
Developing an inner dialogue that is self-accepting, kind and encouraging while decreasing your habits of judgment, self-criticism and fear.
Making space for your essential human needs: rest, exercise, play, healthy eating, companionship, creative expression and spiritual/intellectual fulfillment.

All experiences across the lifespan live in the body neurologically, able to be accessed and released through somatic healing processes. Experience is traumatic when it has overwhelmed a person’s capacity to integrate it. This is especially true for children whose coping abilities have not yet developed. This overwhelm shows up over a lifetime in symptoms, recurrent struggles, self-limiting beliefs and fear-driven behaviors whose unconscious origins lie in traumatic memory. Somatic healing can transform the traumatic memory and accompanying self-limiting beliefs, eliminating their effects and offering profound transformation.
The healing process develops a variety of inner resources to hold and protect the client while accessing and processing traumatic memory. This experience is gentle and deeply relieving, creating space for creativity, love and joy.
Somatic healing is a creative process based on the most effective protocols and unique to each client.

Meet Patricia
I am a perennial student and teacher, mother, wise elder, yogini and naturalist. At the age of 15, I discovered a 100-year-old diary of my same-age predecessor, describing a similar family circumstance that I was then experiencing.
My discovery of intergenerational trauma and cultural/religious influence catalyzed my passion for understanding the human experience in all its depth, diversity and infinite flavors of pain and potential. My exploration of all the creative pathways to healing inspired by my clients enriches me beyond measure.
Members of my intergenerational family have been innovators, some world renown, both in Western medicine and in ancient Eastern healing traditions. I have traveled the world to immerse myself in the teachings and practices of ancient wisdom traditions.
It is my joy to offer elements of my experience and capacity as resource for creating a potent healing crucible for my clients.
